Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote the holistic development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through structured activities and play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide students.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress in literacy, math, and other key areas of learning.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with Montessori methods or teaching physical education is advantageous.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
