Pre- K Teacher for 3 year old class.

Job Overview:

Duties:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans to stimulate children's learning and development

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected

- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities

- Monitor children's behavior and ensure their safety at all times

- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and surfaces

- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits

- Administer basic first aid when necessary

Requirements:

- 12 core ECE units

- Experience in childcare or related

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
