Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher

Putney Central School is hiring a full time lead teacher in our 4-year old PreK program. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a highly collaborative team of teachers and a larger PreK-8 school rooted in whole-child education valuing academic excellence, play in early childhood and a commitment to the arts and various forms of expression.Job Description: Serve as the lead PreK Teacher in a classroom of up to 15 studentsDesign and lead daily instructional experiences for class of students both inside and outside in all types of weather and conditionsComplete administrative tasks related to PreK licensing and regulation complianceWork closely with two classroom paraeducators, and a range of other service providersCommunicate regularly with families and other members of our school communityParticipate in professional development as a school staff and with other PreK colleagues across WSESUAbout Putney Central School: Putney Central School is a public PK-8 school serving approximately 180 students.
