Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire young learners during their foundational years. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages social-emotional growth, behavior management, and respectful interactions among students.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in early intervention or special education to support diverse learning needs.
- Incorporate child welfare practices by ensuring safety protocols are followed and promoting overall well-being of each child.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, toddler care, literacy education, and classroom techniques such as lesson planning and tutoring.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool or early childhood students is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and effective behavior management strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities across various subjects including math and physical education.
- Familiarity with special education practices or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Previous work in daycare settings or private schools enhances your understanding of childcare standards and preschool environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
