We are currently seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee pre-litigation cases, handling all phases from intake to settlement
• Partner with Pre-Litigation Managers to provide guidance and develop case management team
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and develop case strategies to drive results
• Handle settlement negotiations with insurance companies to maximize client recovery
• Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters on an as needed basis
• Collaborate with litigation department focusing on high-level strategy and potential litigation
• Provide compassionate yet strategic legal guidance to case managers and clients throughout the pre-litigation process
• Assist and direct case managers/pre-litigation managers with day-to-day management of medical treatment
• Assist and direct investigation on all pre-litigation matters
• Identify and retain medical experts and/or legal experts for pre-litigation matters
• Meet with clients to provide updates and discuss cases
• Attend pre-litigation mediations
• Conduct monthly file reviews with Pre-litigation managers
• Responsible for participating in monthly file reviews with Managing Attorney

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury law
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements
• Knowledge of California personal injury law and legal procedures
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing abilities
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Management experience is a huge plus
• Ability to work with complicated cases and clients
• Ability to identify important cases and case value
• Knowledge of statute deadlines
• Knowledge of government claim timelines/deadlines/statutes
• Knowledge of Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist timelines/deadlines/statutes

Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
