Pre Press Graphic Designer

• Responsible in converting designs into an Artpro for color separation and multiple layouts.
• Plate and film output.
• Masking images in Photoshop and color separation.
• Controlling of film and plates
• Checking and ensuring all specifications are met and prepare and check dummy samples whenever required.
• Ensure all the files, films and plates are properly maintained and organized.
• Converting the images in color server for optimization of ink and better image quality when printed on different surface of board.
• Preparing multiple layouts as per the die reference provided and printing direct to CTP.
• Taking care of good housekeeping and machine health
• Helps printing operators for color matching of new jobs.
• Be able to adjust and comprehend with additional tasks given by superiors other than the required work responsibilities.
• Takes full responsibility on company guidelines relative to proper wearing of uniform, ID cards, shoes, proper grooming (long hair not allowed) and all other related internal policies of the company.
• Ensures to cooperate in the event that overtime duty is required. Shall work on Fridays / Holidays if required.
• Ensures that proper notification shall be given to immediate supervisors before the absent date.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma holder in any discipline and certification in any field (if available).
• At least 2 years relevant experience in packaging design and digital pre-press. Exposure to the printing industry preferred.
• Attended various updates, orientation programs and ISO related trainings.
• Computer proficiency in Coral draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, Esko Artpro+, Esko Plato, Adobe Acrobat and other Utility Software.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
