PRE- PRIMARY Home Room Teachers / Early Childhood Education Teachers

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, creativity, and inquiry-based learning.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, confident, and motivated to explore.
• Implement play-based, activity-driven, and experiential learning strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs.
• Observe, document, and assess each child’s progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing regular, meaningful updates with parents.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, parents, colleagues, and school leadership, ensuring strong school–home partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with co-teachers, assistants, and support staff to ensure smooth classroom functioning and cohesive instructional delivery.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Completion of early childhood teaching certification, such as PPTC, NTT, B.Ed., or equivalent early years training.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a pre-primary or early childhood educator in a Cambridge School.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both children and parents.
• Salary: 30,000 to 35,000per month
