Job Summary:

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2.5 to 6 years. The role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in young learners, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school’s early childhood curriculum.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use play-based and inquiry-driven teaching methods to support developmental milestones.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting learning and providing feedback to parents.
• Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, written reports, and informal conversations.
• Organize and participate in school events, parent meetings, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, co-teachers, and other staff to support student learning.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Prior experience (1–3 years) in a pre-primary or nursery setting preferred.
• Fluency in English (and other languages, if required).
• Basic computer literacy for digital communication and lesson planning.
