1. Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Use play-based and activity-based learning methods to make lessons enjoyable and effective.
- Introduce foundational literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning among children.
2. Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Ensure classroom discipline through positive reinforcement and age-appropriate behavior management strategies.
- Organize and maintain learning materials, teaching aids, and classroom displays.
3. Child Development and Care
- Observe, monitor, and document each child’s progress and development.
- Identify children with learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and inform parents/administration for further support.
- Promote hygiene, safety, and good habits among children (e.g., eating, dressing, and personal care).
4. Parent Communication and Reporting
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and overall development.
- Conduct parent–teacher meetings and share feedback constructively.
- Prepare progress reports, portfolios, and records of students’ achievements.
5. Collaboration and Planning
- Work closely with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and maintain consistency across the curriculum.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and co-curricular programs.
- Attend training programs and workshops for continuous professional development.
6. Administrative and Other Duties
- Take attendance and maintain accurate student records.
- Ensure adherence to school policies and curriculum guidelines.
- Assist in organizing school events, excursions, and celebrations.
