About the role
A Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for teaching young children, typically aged 3 to 6 years, and helping them build foundational skills for their academic and social development.

What you will be doing
Maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment where children feel comfortable and supported. Managing children’s behavior using positive reinforcement and setting clear expectations. Helping children develop social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, following instructions, and managing emotions. Encouraging children to express themselves and build confidence.
Lesson Planning and Implementation: Designing and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities that stimulate children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. This includes planning activities related to language development, motor skills, creativity, social interaction, and basic numeracy.
Ensuring the physical well-being of the children by monitoring health and hygiene standards, following safety protocols, and keeping the classroom clean and safe for children. Working closely with other teachers, special education staff, and school counselors to ensure a holistic approach to the child’s development. Contributing to school events or activities. Teaching early literacy and numeracy skills, such as recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, in a way that aligns with their developmental stage.
Identifying each child's strengths and areas of improvement, offering tailored support to address their developmental needs. This may include working one-on-one with children who need extra help in particular areas.
Maintaining regular communication with parents about their child’s development, progress, and behavior. Offering guidance to parents on how to support learning at home. Organizing activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, games, and pretend play that foster creativity, imagination, and critical thinking. These activities often serve as both educational and fun experiences for children.

Who we are looking for:
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Diploma in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years teaching Pre-Primary children.
