Job Description

Position Title: Junior KG Teacher

Department: Pre-Primary

Location: Sakinaka

Reporting To: Centre Head

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

  • The Junior KG Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and
  • engaging learning environment for young children.
  • The teacher will foster the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of students through age appropriate
  • activities and structured learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Management
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
  • Ensure daily routines and activities are followed as per the curriculum plan.
  • Encourage positive behavior and manage the class with empathy and patience.
  • Academic Responsibilities
  • Implement the prescribed curriculum effectively through creative teaching methods.
  • Plan and prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning materials.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain student progress records regularly.
  • Support students in achieving age-appropriate learning milestones.
  • Child Development
  • Promote holistic development including language, cognitive, motor, and social skills.
  • Identify and support individual learning needs or behavioral concerns.
  • Encourage participation in classroom activities through interactive and play-based learning.
  • Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and coordinators to ensure smooth class functioning.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.

qualifications & Skills:

Education: Graduate in Early Childhood Education / Montessori /

D.Ed / ECCEd or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a preprimary

or early childhood setting preferred.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Creativity and enthusiasm for early childhood education.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward children.

Organizational and time-management abilities.

Basic computer literacy (MS Office, digital teaching tools, etc.).

working Hours:

8:00AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 2 Saturdays half day (9:00 am

– 1:00 pm)
