Job Summary:
Dr. D Y Patil Public School, Vita, is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to nurture young minds in their formative years. The ideal candidate will create a positive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for children, focusing on their cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Learning:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that focus on foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and basic concepts.
- Use play-based and activity-based learning methodologies to make learning enjoyable and effective.
- Foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning among children.
- Child Development:
- Promote the overall development of children, including social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Identify and address the individual needs of each child, ensuring personalized attention.
- Encourage good habits such as hygiene, discipline, and manners.
- Classroom Management:
- Create a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage the daily routine, including snack time, playtime, and other activities.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Parental Communication:
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive feedback.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain attendance records, lesson plans, and student performance reports.
- Prepare and organize teaching aids, props, and materials for activities.
- Participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute activities, events, and performances.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure the well-being of children.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Training, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a Pre-Primary Teacher is preferred.
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of child psychology and development milestones.
