Pre-Primary Teacher PRT

FULL-TIME, ON-SITE POSITION IN VISNAGAR, GUJARAT.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature (BA/MA English Literature)

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECCE) is a plus

· Certifications in Linguistics / Phonics are a plus

· Deep understanding of phonics, vocabulary development, sentence formation, and reading-readiness

· Expertise with English language concepts/topics at school level (ICSE & CBSE)

· 2–4 years of experience in early years English instruction

· Proficiency/fluency in English language (writing, speaking and reading)

· Strong grasp of language acquisition principles for young learners

· Excellent English communication (both spoken and written)

· Ability to design engaging and age-appropriate activities, stories, and assessments

· Familiarity with CBSE/NEP 2020 guidelines, as well as global frameworks like Cambridge/IB PYP is a plus

· Acute attention to detail

· Excellent communication and coordination skills

· Willingness to relocate to Ahmedabad, Gujarat

· Basic knowledge, skills and working functionality awareness for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong work ethic and high work quality standards

Responsibilities:

· Creating and reviewing early literacy curriculum, lesson plans, and learning resources for ages 3–8

· Developing phonics-based learning content, rhymes, stories, vocabulary games, and reading comprehension exercises

· Aligning content with NEP 2020 guidelines and foundational literacy frameworks (NCF/NCF-FS)

· Ensuring content is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and inclusive for young learners

· Reviewing and editing existing English language content to maintain consistency and accuracy

· Conducting quality checks and piloting content with teachers or students where required

· Supporting teacher guides and training modules with clear pedagogy notes and learning outcomes

· Staying updated with current trends in early literacy, language learning tools, and edtech innovations

· Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members

· Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and other leaders
