SUMMARY
Responsible for pre-sales and technical support for the KSA and other assigned markets. Be the Promotor for ViewSonic products and solutions. You need to be capable to do thorough product demonstrations to your clients on your own, train your channel partners or end users, and provide basic technical support to partner/client, make product comparison with key competitor models, prepare BOQ for project/tenders. Provide feedback on local product requirements, competitive landscapes, good product features with use case to HQ. .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Conduct product training and demonstration activities for Distribution, Resellers and End-User and channel establishments.
· Be a trainer for myViewBoard Eco-system and total H/W & software solutions.
· 1st level trouble shooting if any technical issue and then feedback/discuss issues to service team or HQ technical team.
· Proactively suggest required changes/plans to meet and exceed the respective targets
· Monitor competitor and market activity to provide sales positioning arguments, value propositions, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
· Effectively implement all corporate programmes and initiatives.
· Work closely with the rest of the Sales Team, Marketing, Product managers to solve technical issues quickly.
· Event execution
- Work with external parties/marketing team to create booth design and layout
- Prepare showcase product and content management
- Onsite involvement with setup and product knowledge support during the event
· Pre-launch product test
- Pre-production models tested for local market
- Potential issues are tested and resolved with involvement from the BU
- Technical specification and documentation are up to date
- Demo kits available on demand for PR review and testing
COMMUNICATION & LIAISON
· Visit clients and end users on a regular basis to provide the correct levels of direct customer contact
· Provide a fast friendly and efficient response to the demands of the defined customer base
· Maintain the quality and image of the company by providing a level of service and support that ensures total customer satisfaction.
· Provide both sales and product training to channels and end users as required.
· Conduct product and solution demonstration to channels and end users as required.
· Provide information to customers, both verbal and written, on the current product range and pricing and, where appropriate, future products.
· Obtain accurate stock, sales and forecast information from key customers.
· Provide accurate sales forecasts by product on a regular basis.
· Provide information on both market and product trends to assist in the future development of the product portfolio.
· Monitor market conditions to provide accurate pricing information.
· Liaise with other members of the sales department to ensure information flow and a cohesive approach to the market.
· Work as a team player at all times by providing assistance to other employee partners as required.
· Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required by the company.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
· At least 5 years IT/AV Solution experience in a PreSales role with experience of dealing with corporate or institutional end users / Education reseller and distribution accounts in the computer or display market
· Experience with IFP (Interactive Flat Panel) in a pre-sales/tech support/account manager role.
· Professional demonstration skills
· Preferred to have pre-sales or technical support or FAE sort of background
· Good communication skills
· Aggressive, autonomous, assertive, creative and customer driven
· Creativity and an ability to bring new products to market.
· Must be a team player and be able to develop business plans and sales.
· Excellent Presentation
· Good business sense and understanding of business processes
· Ability to work with deadlines and end-dates in a marketing environment
· Must have KSA market experience
