Pre-Sales Engineer

Role Purpose;


The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a critical role in transforming AI opportunities into revenue-generating solutions. This position serves as a bridge between technology and customer engagement, helping clients understand the value and applicability of AI-driven solutions.

The role involves understanding and analyzing customer needs, designing the right AI approach, roadmap and solution, and developing client-specific demos and PoCs.

You will support the field positioning of chatbot, voicebot, AI agent, co-pilot and analytical solutions by leveraging Mplus Technology’s product portfolio and our long-standing expertise in customer experience.


Responsibilities;


Customer & Opportunity Analysis


• Participate in customer meetings to analyze business needs, operational challenges, and AI potential.

• Review call volumes, operational processes, integration points, and workflows (CRM, ERP, CCaaS) to identify automation opportunities.

• Prioritize high-value opportunities (automation %, cost savings, quality improvement).


Solution Design & Demo Development


• Design and develop tailored AI demo scenarios (chatbot, voicebot, co-pilot flows).

• Translate customer needs into technical and business requirements.

• Work with the Product team to structure demo flows and perform quality assurance (testing).

• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) development for strategic clients.

Commercial Process Support

• Prepare technical documentation for RFP/RFQ processes.

• Create technical architecture diagrams, solution presentations, and value calculations.

• Contribute to pricing efforts by assessing integration effort, implementation scope, and support needs.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


• Work with Operations teams to understand real field needs.

• Design end-to-end solutions in collaboration with Sales, Consulting, and Operations teams.

• Provide feedback to the Product Development team and contribute to the product roadmap.


Candidate Profile;


Required Skills & Experience


• 1–4 years of experience in SaaS pre-sales, solution architecture, RPA development, or technical consulting.

• Familiarity with Conversational AI, CCaaS systems (Genesys, Cisco, AloTech, Buzzeasy), and CRM/ERP integrations.

• Basic technical knowledge of APIs, integration flows, and data structures (coding not required).

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities.

• High level of technology literacy.

• Fluent English.


Preferred


• Basic understanding of LLMs, NLP/NLU, and automation flows.

• Experience creating prototypes on bot platforms.
