Pre-Sales Technical Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Technical professional to support the sales team by providing technical expertise, solution design, and product demonstrations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer requirements and technical solutions, ensuring successful deal closures and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
  • Deliver product presentations, demos, and technical briefings to clients
  • Prepare technical proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and solution documentation
  • Conduct requirement analysis and recommend optimized solutions
  • Assist in product selection, system architecture design, and solution customization
  • Provide pre-sales support during client meetings, calls, and negotiations
  • Address technical queries and objections from clients
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product, and support) to ensure solution feasibility
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and competitor products
  • Support post-sales teams during project handover

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (if applicable) will be a plus

Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or solution engineering
  • Experience in handling client-facing technical discussions

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge (depending on industry: IT, software, networking, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
