Job Summary

Heritage International School, Kalyan is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pre-School Head to lead and manage our Pre-Primary section at Kalyan. The ideal candidate must be passionate about early childhood education, capable of leading a team of teachers, and committed to creating a nurturing and creative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of pre-school teachers
• Plan and implement a creative, activity-based curriculum
• Ensure effective implementation of phonics and foundational literacy programs
• Monitor lesson planning, classroom management, and learning outcomes
• Conduct teacher training sessions and performance evaluations
• Organize parent meetings, orientations, and school events
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and child welfare
• Promote innovation and joyful learning practices

Required Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate (Education preferred)
• Ecced / Montessori training mandatory
• Jolly Phonics trained candidates preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Primary education
• Prior leadership or coordinator experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required)

• Ability to build positive relationships with parents and staff
