Pre-suit Paralegal (Bilingual)

The Pendas Law Firm, P.A. is currently seeking an experienced BILINGUAL PRE-SUIT CASE MANAGER. This position will assist the attorney in all aspects of a personal injury case, from initial sign up through pre-suit settlement.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies regarding case status
• Prepare demands to insurance companies
• Obtain and review medical records
• Schedule calendar for attorney
• Organize and maintain personal injury files
• Coordinate duties with legal assistant for opening files and closings

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

• Bi-lingual English and Spanish (required)
• 2 + years relevant work experience (preferred)
• Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be well organized and self-motivated
• Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in a fast pace and high-volume personal injury law office preferred

Work hours: 8:30am-5:00pm

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
