Case Manager

Personal Injury firm seeking experienced Case Managers. As a Case Manager you must be highly organized and able to work on a varied caseload. The individual will assist the attorney in developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence as needed. The ideal candidate is motivated, customer-focused, and empathetic. Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases from demand through transfer to litigation.
  • Request medical records.
  • Interact with clients.
  • Handle property damage portion of claim.
  • Prepare demand package and medical bill outline.
  • Draft supplemental demands.
  • Draft and file Civil remedy Notices.
  • Draft and audit settlement statements.
  • Hire expert witnesses.
  • Draft complaints.
  • Prepare cases for litigation by the following checklist.
  • Daily interaction with existing and potential clients via telephone, emails, and in person.
  • Client intake and filing of the claim.
  • Coordinate treatment for clients
  • Order medical and billing records from providers and communicate with clients and providers throughout the course of treatment.
  • Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
  • Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
  • Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate a deduction of outstanding medical balances with providers.
  • Work directly with coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
  • Creating and maintaining organized case files.
  • Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers.
  • Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
  • Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.

Qualification:

  • Prefer a candidate who has been working as a pre-suit personal injury case manager with at least 2 year of experience.
  • Must understand and have experience with handling PIP, UM, BI, and PD claims.
  • Must understand and prepare a case for demand.
  • Experienced Case Manager candidate for Post-Demand and distributions.
  • Great customer service, verbal and communication skills with clients and medical providers.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with an ability to multitask in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25 - $35 per hour
