We are seeking a skilled and personable lawyer to provide 30 minute consultations for prearranged clients. Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct 30 minute consultations with predefined clients to understand their legal concerns and provide professional advice.

- Regularly update your availability in Calendly to ensure that consultations are only scheduled based on your preferred time slots.

- Analyze legal issues and provide clear and concise recommendations to clients based on applicable laws and regulations.

- Assist clients in understanding their rights, obligations, and potential legal outcomes.

- Conduct legal research to stay updated with relevant legislation, precedents, and industry practices.

- Maintain client confidentiality and always adhere to professional and ethical standards.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

- Active license to practice law in your state.

- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide empathetic support.

- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures.

- Outstanding verbal communication abilities.

- Must not reside in California (we are unable to offer a contractual position to lawyers based in CA).

Employment Type and Compensation:

- This position is an independent contractor role.

- $47 for every 30 minute consultation.

- Contract term is indefinite. Number of consultations scheduled will vary week to week, but our goal is to fill up your schedule as much as you will allow.
