Precast Dispatcher

Job Summary

CDA Precast LLC is seeking an organized, dependable, and experienced Precast Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous trucking or transportation dispatch experience and the ability to coordinate daily deliveries, drivers, equipment, and communication between the yard, production team, and customers. Along with assisting customer will calls and orders.

This position plays a key role in keeping deliveries running safely, efficiently, and on schedule in a fast-paced precast construction environment. This is not a remote position; this is an in-house position.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate daily precast deliveries and routes
Communicate with drivers, customers, contractors, and internal departments
Monitor delivery schedules and adjust routes as needed
Coordinate crane and trucking logistics for deliveries
Maintain accurate dispatch records, load sheets, and driver paperwork
Ensure DOT and company compliance requirements are followed
Assist with scheduling drivers, equipment, and delivery priorities
Track delivery progress and provide updates to customers and management
Support safe and efficient yard operations
Secure permits as needed for deliveries
Schedule 3rd-party trucking for larger projects

Qualifications

Previous trucking, transportation, or dispatching experience required
Experience in construction, precast, concrete, or heavy haul transportation preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver logs preferred
Familiarity with trucking routes, permits, and scheduling
Proficient with computers, email, dispatch software, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work well with drivers, production teams, and customers
