Precision Multi‑Process Welder, Custom Machinery & Skids

Build the Future of U.S. Manufacturing—One Precision Weld at a Time

Step onto a bright, well-organized shop floor in Rochester, NY, where custom machines, process skids, and structural assemblies take shape for industries like energy, chemical, food, glass, aerospace, and clean tech. As a Precision Multi‑Process Welder on our team at Re:Build Optimation, your craft turns engineered designs into reliable, real‑world solutions.

A Day in the Life

Your shift begins with reviewing basic shop drawings and weld symbols alongside fabricators, machinists, and engineers. As an L1–L5 welder (growth based on skill), you set up fixtures, prep materials, and run clean, structurally sound welds. You inspect your work, note defects, and keep your station spotless—aligned with OSHA standards and our 5S practices. As you advance, you’ll take on vertical and overhead positions, TIG on stainless, and pressure work—expanding from simple MIG and stick in flat/horizontal to complex, high-precision builds.
