Job Title: Back of House Prep Team Member

As a Back of House Prep Team Member, you will support the kitchen team and ensure each guest receives their food order quickly and accurately and leaves with a smile. You will specifically oversee the process of making cold dish items such as salads, wraps, fruit cups, and parfaits throughout the shift.
No experience is necessary, we will teach you everything you need to know!

Specific Availability - You set your availability, and we schedule based on that. We are primarily looking for someone for the 2:00pm-10:00pm shift, but we have some opportunity for the 6:00am-2:00pm shift as well.

Back of House Prep Team Member Responsibilities include but are not limited to…

Prepare, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently all while meeting Chick-fil-A standards.

Be knowledgeable of the assignments for the prep area and organization of coolers and freezers.

Stock kitchen inventory as needed throughout the shift.

Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times of day.

Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership.

Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes and all new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.

Complete all closing tasks as assigned throughout the shift.

Adhere to all Chick-fil-A Forest Drive rules and regulations and Chick-fil-A Forest Drive dress code at all times.

Manage portion control and proper labeling throughout the shift

Maintain a sense of urgency to prepare bulk items to support the shift.

Must be eligible to work in the United States, 16 years old at time of hire and have a reliable source of transportation.

Ability to handle all equipment, navigate shelving both high and low and mobility are required during shifts.

Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required as well as working well under pressure.
