We’re seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our kitchen staff as Prep Cooks.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking process, following recipes and kitchen standards.
• Plate and present food beautifully, adhering to presentation guidelines.
• Assist with food service during events, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
• Required Experience: 1-2 years of successful culinary experience
• Certifications: Serve Safe Food Handlers
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours
• Other:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify.
  • Submit/complete background check; have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Schedule:

• Part-Time: Weekends and Evenings when events take place
  • Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, late nights
• Hourly: $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience
