Pre/Post Op Nurse- Interventional Pain Management

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pre/Post-Op Nurse to join our outpatient interventional pain management team. The main focus of this role is administering medications, monitoring patient vitals during administration, and ensuring accurate documentation and accountability. This position also supports patient care before and after procedures, contributing to a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Administer medications under physician direction.

· Monitor and document patient vital signs during medication administration.

· Maintain accurate records of medication use, waste, and daily medication counts.

· Assist with supply and medication ordering, ensuring adequate inventory for procedures.

· Conduct pre-op assessments, including vitals, medication review, and patient education.

· Monitor patients post-procedure, assess for complications, and provide safe discharge instructions.

· Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.

· Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

· Current RN license (Michigan required).

· Experience in PACU, critical care, or outpatient surgery strongly preferred.

· Strong IV, airway, and monitoring skills.

· Excellent communication and patient care skills.

· Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail with medication counts and documentation.

· Team-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Schedule & Compensation:

· Outpatient, weekday schedule (no nights, weekends, or holidays).

· Pay: $31.00/hour.

· Benefits package available for full-time employees.
