Prepress/Graphic Designer

Who We Are

Pittcraft is a 75-year-old commercial print company in the middle of an intentional growth period. We’re not a commodity shop — we’re building something with standards, and we want people who care about craft and take ownership of their work.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for taking customer files from submission to press-ready — preflighting, color management, and proofing. You’ll work closely with our estimating, digital, and production teams to keep jobs moving accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Preflight and prep incoming files (PDF, AI, InDesign)
• Color correction and profile management
• Proof generation and customer approval coordination
• Flag file issues and communicate clearly with the team

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of prepress experience in a commercial print environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with RIP software
• High attention to detail
• Someone who communicates problems instead of hiding them
• A team player who pitches in wherever needed — on a slow day, you might be running the digital press, making banners or, helping in finishing, or learning something you’ve never done before. We value people who say “what else can I do?” over people who say “that’s not my job.”
• A person who takes pride in their work and respects their teammates

Pay

We pay fairly and we reward people who show up and grow. Compensation is discussed during the interview process.
