Presales Consultant – Network & Security

A leading technology solutions provider is looking for a Presales Consultant with strong expertise in networking and cybersecurity. This role will work closely with both clients and internal sales teams to design, position, and deliver tailored solutions, acting as a key link between business requirements and technical delivery.


Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to support client engagement and the end-to-end pre-sales process

• Interpret and assess customer requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions

• Architect and design integrated networking and security solutions aligned to client objectives

• Produce and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and live solution demonstrations

• Create high-level designs, technical architecture diagrams, and supporting solution documentation

• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, including preparation of tailored commercial and technical proposals

• Coordinate with technology vendors and partners to validate solution design and ensure technical feasibility

• Execute proof-of-concept activities and oversee solution testing where required

• Facilitate smooth handover of solutions to delivery and implementation teams

• Continuously track and evaluate emerging trends and innovations in networking and cybersecurity


Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years’ experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting within networking and security

• Strong knowledge across enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing & switching) and security (firewalls, VPNs, access control, zero trust, etc.)

• Exposure to cloud networking and security solutions is advantageous

• Experience working with leading enterprise technology vendors
