Responsibilities

The Presales Engineer (ICT) is responsible for providing technical expertise, solution design, and support during the sales process. This role bridges the gap between customer requirements and company offerings, ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with client needs.

The position involves preparing proposals, solution documentation, and presentations while working closely with the sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose suitable ICT solutions.
  • Design and develop ICT solutions covering networking, data centres, security systems, unified communications, ELV, and cloud technologies.
  • Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, and RFP responses.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions.
  • Evaluate tender documents and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors and distributors for updated solutions, pricing, and technical support.
  • Support sales in customer meetings and discussions to explain solution benefits and ROI.
  • Work with the project delivery team to ensure solution alignment during implementation.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in ICT.
  • Mentor junior presales engineers and contribute to team development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, including hands-on work with Oracle tools.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in presales or solution design roles within ICT or system integration companies.
  • Strong background in one or more of the following domains:
    • Networking (LAN/WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN)
    • Data Center and Virtualization
    • Security Systems (Firewalls, CCTV, Access Control)
    • Collaboration Tools (Video Conferencing, VoIP)
    • Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience in preparing technical and financial proposals for medium to large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using MS Office, AutoCAD (for layouts), and ERP systems.
  • Vendor certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, HPE, etc.) are highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
