Presales Engineer Data Centre & Server Infrastructure

As a Presales Engineer, you will collaborate with sales, vendors, and clients to understand project goals, propose tailored infrastructure solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor during technical evaluations and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect IT infrastructure solutions (server, storage, networking) aligned to customer requirements
• Provide expert consultation to both internal teams and customers on data centre and server design
• Deliver solution presentations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept demonstrations
• Participate in RFP/RFI responses and support detailed documentation and solution proposals
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and integrate the latest technologies
• Lead deployment and handover processes for server and data centre projects
• Maintain strong knowledge of industry best practices, compliance, and emerging technologies
• Support the business development team with technical insights and customer engagement

Technical Skill Set

• Strong understanding of enterprise server platforms (Supermicro, Gigabyte, Lenovo, etc.)
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and their role in modern DCs
• Familiarity with hyper-converged infrastructure and cloud-integrated environments
• Proficient in data centre architectures: racks, blades, SAN/NAS storage, backup, DR
• Understanding of IT infrastructure performance considerations and integration with software platforms
• Hands-on experience with POC environments and infrastructure deployment
• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+ or vendor-specific certs (preferred)

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience in a presales, solution architect, or technical consultant role in IT infrastructure
• Experience working with enterprise customers, vendors, and solution integrators
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Solution-oriented with strong business acumen and customer focus
• Detail-driven, self-managed, proactive approach to cross-team collaboration
• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai and work in a fast-paced international environment
• Fluent in English and Russian
