Role Summary

As a Presales Engineer specializing in fire protection systems, you will be responsible for preparing estimations, coordinating with clients, and handling supplier registrations across various platforms. You ll play a key role in bridging the gap between technical proposals and client requirements by ensuring all quotations are accurate, timely, and compliant with industry standards.

What You ll Do

* Register and manage company credentials on supplier portals to receive RFQs
* Monitor supplier platforms regularly for new inquiries and deadline alerts
* Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations in a timely manner
* Estimate requirements for fire detection, protection, and fit-out projects
* Keep detailed records of all inquiries, quotes, awarded jobs, and job completions
* Coordinate with clients for updates on quotations and job status
* Request invoices from accounts after project completion and track payment follow-up
* Draft internal Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and ensure documentation readiness for DCD submissions

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree (BE/BTech) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
* 1 2 years of experience in estimation, supplier coordination, or presales roles
* Strong working knowledge of fire protection and evacuation systems (basic level acceptable)
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication in English (Hindi is an added plus)
* Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and follow up proactively
