Presales Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

Technical Presales Support: Provide end-to-end technical presales support to the sales team throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from qualification to closure.
Solution Design: Identify, qualify, and pursue cybersecurity opportunities across various sectors by analyzing client needs and architecting best-fit security solutions.
Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling and in-depth technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to customers and key stakeholders.
Proposal & RFP Response: Lead the technical response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring proposals are technically sound and competitive.
Technical Consultation: Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity strategies, threat landscapes, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a presales, sales engineering, or security consulting role within the cybersecurity industry.
Firewall Expertise: Strong, hands-on command of next-generation firewall (NGFW) technologies, with proven experience in at least two of the following:
Sophos Firewall (including features like zero-day protection, IPS, and web filtering)
Fortinet FortiGate (including ASIC-accelerated performance and AI-driven security controls)
SonicWall (including deep packet inspection, threat intelligence, and SD-WAN capabilities)
Palo Alto Networks (including application, user, and content identification)
Endpoint Security Expertise: Strong command of endpoint protection platforms (EPP) and detection/response solutions, with experience in at least two of the following:
Sophos Endpoint (including deep learning malware detection and anti-ransomware)
Kaspersky Endpoint Security (including behavior detection, exploit prevention, and host intrusion prevention)
SentinelOne (including AI-powered prevention, detection, and response)
Email Security & VAPT: Demonstrated knowledge of email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint, Fortinet, Barracuda, Sophos) and a strong understanding of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) methodologies.
Market Knowledge: Proven track record of working with enterprise and government sectors, preferably within the Saudi Arabian market.
