Preschool Breaker/Float

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Breaker/Float to join our team. This role is essential in providing support across various classrooms, ensuring a seamless learning experience for our infants, toddler, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional skills in classroom management, communication, and child welfare.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum and lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschoolers.
• Provide care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Support children with special needs through early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Engage in literacy education activities, promoting early reading and writing skills among students.
• Help manage classroom dynamics by fostering positive interactions and encouraging cooperative play.
• Facilitate physical education activities that promote gross motor skills development.
• Collaborate with educators to assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
• Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Experience

• A background in early childhood education or related field is preferred, with experience working directly with children in a preschool setting.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.
• Experience with special education practices and knowledge of childhood development principles.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Previous experience in childcare or private school settings is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
