Preschool Director

The Goddard School® located in Concord NC is looking for a motivated, self-starter for a Director position at our School. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a management role in a preschool/daycare strong leadership skills, excellent communication & social skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others.

The director's responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Overseeing the operations of the School, specifically focusing on day to day operations, marketing, conducting tours and following up with leads, completing child/employee files, very familiar with NC State and Sanitation requirements, GSL QA.
• Conduct classroom observations and coach staff members to follow NAEYC standards
• Using a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the School for the future.
• Developing strong relationships with our families
• Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
• Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• Admin Credentials ( Required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An inspirational leader and team builder
• Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment to make sure the students have access to the best curriculum available
• Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
• NC DHHS Criminal Background Check, Negative TB Test, Medical Report

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
