Preschool English Teacher

• Female candidates only.
• Valid Kuwait residency (Article 18).
• Full-time.
• Work days: Sunday – Thursday.
• Working hours: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

• Plan and implement age‑appropriate, engaging English lessons in line with the BeCurious / Finnish curriculum.
• Use song, storytelling, games, creative arts, and movement to teach vocabulary, simple phrases, greetings, colors, numbers, etc.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and curious.
• Maintain classroom management, ensure routines (snack, rest, free play, cleanup) are followed.
• Prepare and maintain teaching materials: flashcards, visual aids, books, and manipulatives.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress, strengths, and areas for growth.
• Collaborate with co‑teachers, assistants, and the curriculum/curriculum manager to align teaching practices.
• Ensure all safety, health, and preschool policies are followed.
• Observe and assess individual children’s progress in language development, and adjust instruction accordingly.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, English, TESOL/TEFL, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience teaching preschool / early childhood (ages 1‑5), preferably teaching English.
• Strong command of English (both spoken and written); ability to speak clearly and be easily understood by young learners.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn and implement play‑based, child‑centered methodologies (like the Finnish approach).
• Patience, creativity, energy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with children, parents, and colleagues.
  

• Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for Arabic.
• Creative and engaging teaching style.
• Strong classroom management with warmth and empathy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to bring fun, playfulness, and culture into lessons.

• Experience designing and using visual aids, song/music for learning.
• Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles.
• Basic skills in record keeping and reporting.
