Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards while fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate activities promoting childhood development, behavior management, and special education needs.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide individualized support to children, including those requiring early intervention or special education services.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
  • Maintain records of student assessments, standardized testing results, and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices in childcare and preschool education.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies such as Montessori is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Experience in tutoring or providing additional support for students as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
