Preschool Lead Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for children in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Provide literacy education and early intervention strategies to support children's language and cognitive development.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children with special needs, including those with autism or behavioral health challenges.
- Supervise and engage children in educational activities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the individual needs of each child and provide regular updates on their progress.
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills development.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including assessments, observations, and developmental milestones.

Requirements:
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA or related field.
- Experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with special education strategies and techniques for working with children with special needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of individual children.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
