Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that promotes the holistic development of preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
  • Create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and incorporate various teaching methods.
  • Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among students.
  • Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a safe and organized learning space.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to child welfare.
  • Assess students development through observations and making sure that they are developmentally on point.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff in planning activities that enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Associates degree or TECE 1 and 2 preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in special education or working with students requiring additional support is a plus, but not a necessity.
  • A genuine passion for teaching young children and fostering their growth in a nurturing environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
