Preschool Lead Teacher – Christian In-Home Preschool

Lebanon, TN | Part-Time (2–3 days per week, 15–22 hours/week)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered Preschool Lead Teacher to help launch and lead a small, faith-based in-home preschool in Lebanon, TN. This unique program combines Christian curriculum, outdoor learning, and a nature-focused, screen-free environment to nurture the hearts and minds of young children.

Our goal is to create a warm, peaceful, and engaging atmosphere where children can explore God’s creation, develop strong moral character, and build a love for learning through play and discovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small group of preschool-aged children in a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment
• Implement and adapt a Christian-based curriculum that integrates biblical principles, hands-on learning, and nature exploration
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence using Montessori-inspired and classical education methods
• Foster positive communication with parents and collaborate with the program director to ensure excellence in care and education
• Create daily routines and lesson plans that include prayer, stories, music, crafts, and outdoor play
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning space
• Model Christian values and provide spiritual guidance through everyday interactions

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and helping them grow spiritually, socially, and academically
• Strong Christian faith and commitment to modeling Christlike character
• Reliable, responsible, and professional with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in early childhood education or child development preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass a background check
• A love for nature and outdoor play-based learning is a must!

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time: 2–3 days per week (approximately 15–22 hours/week)
• Commission-based pay structure per enrolled child
• Opportunity for growth as the preschool expands
