Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to promote holistic childhood development.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere by implementing effective behavior management strategies and fostering respectful interactions among children.
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring activities align with developmental milestones and standards.
- Support children with special education needs through early intervention techniques and individualized learning approaches.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, snack times, nap schedules, and outdoor play, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, lesson plans, and standardized testing results in compliance with educational standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; Montessori or private school experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood education topics such as literacy, math, physical education, and child welfare.
- Proven classroom management skills with the ability to foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
- Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
- Experience utilizing teaching methods like tutoring or classroom experience that emphasizes childhood development principles.
