Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Assess each child's developmental progress regularly, utilizing tools such as standardized testing and formative assessments to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with families to support children's welfare, communicate progress, and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes child welfare through engaging activities like tutoring, physical education, and interactive play.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development within preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Expertise in working with children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Familiarity with, literacy education strategies, and behavior management techniques.
