Preschool Lead Teacher

About us

Do you love spending time with and teaching preschoolers? We are seeking a reliable, motivated teacher to join our family. Some of your responsibilities will be to:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care to children.
• Plan weekly educational fun crafts and activities that are developmentally appropriate.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Align lesson plans to the Early Learning and Development Standards using The Creative Curriculum
• Keep an organized, clean classroom.
• Complete all tasks in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff
• Maintain accurate records.
• Attend staff meetings & complete training hours.
• Be able and willing to get down on the floor to play and interact with children.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans.
• Have patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum of a High School Diploma a Must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.50 per hour
