Preschool Lead Teacher

PRESCHOOL TEACHER

We are looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher to guide the children through their day at our Early Learning Center. Between recess, eating times, nap and circle times...this applicant would need to show strength in following a schedule, providing crafts and academics using our academic foundation, and helping some of the children with potty training. We have a full class and there is full time assistant to help with prepping projects, planning and other class duties. We follow a theme based curriculum and have letters, numbers, shapes and colors assigned weekly as well. During the summer it is slightly more relaxed. This position is an 8:00am to 5:00pm position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Experience in Preschool: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
• TB Test (Preferred)
• Merit ID and Portable Background Check (Required)
• First Aid and CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Care Basics 30 Stars Hours Certificate (Preferred)
