Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing curriculum plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with families to support each child's unique needs. A strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and child welfare is essential to ensure a positive learning experience for all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Plan and execute daily lesson plans that promote active learning and developmental milestones.
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful environment.
• Foster social-emotional growth by encouraging positive interactions among children and supporting their individual needs.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address any developmental or behavioral concerns.
• Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and maintain a clean, organized classroom environment.
• Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies when supporting children with diverse learning needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, tutoring, and other relevant areas.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
• Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners including toddlers and children requiring additional support such as those in preschool or daycare settings.
• Proficiency in teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with students in private school or daycare environments is advantageous.
• Passion for child welfare and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes growth in all developmental areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
