Duties
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children ages 3-5.
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and methods to promote development.
- Coordinate early intervention programs and collaborate with specialists in special education to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies while fostering positive social interactions among children.
- Oversee lesson planning.
- Support staff training on best practices in childhood development, classroom management, and childcare techniques.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or learning.
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development across multiple domains.
- Extensive classroom management experience with preschool-aged students.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists.
- Experience working within licensed childcare environments.
