We focus on the holistic development of the child: cognitive, language, spiritual, physical, and social/emotional.

Job Announcement

Position Available: Preschool Teacher, part or full time.

Salary range from $18.00-$25.00 per hour depending on education & experience. Full time teacher has five weeks of paid vacation and paid holidays too!

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• To offer a program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of each individual child.
• To prepare and maintain a caring and safe environment that is orderly, clean, and encourages a child’s active exploration and learning.
• To observe and record individual and group behavior as an assessment tool to serve as a basis for individual learning plans and group activities.
• To establish positive communication with parents through conferences, notes, and daily interactions.
• Plan teaching lessons based on children’s interests and curriculum outline.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Have 12 units of early childhood education (or currently enrolled in 6 ECE units)
• Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR
• Pass a health examination and a TB clearance
• Fingerprint clearance

*Browns Valley Preschool is a Mentor Teacher Site.
