<Duties>

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic child development.
  • Plan and execute daily lesson plans that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and social interaction among preschool children.
  • Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Conduct classroom activities that promote early intervention strategies, special education needs, and child welfare best practices.
  • Assess children's progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate; document developmental milestones and communicate findings with parents and team members.
  • Support toddlers' care routines by providing attentive supervision, fostering independence, and encouraging age-specific skills such as potty training and basic self-care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design tailored lesson plans that meet individual student needs, including those requiring additional support or tutoring.
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom events.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and health & safety standards at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, early intervention techniques, special education practices, and innovative teaching methods.

<Requirements>

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education standards, and curriculum development techniques.
  • Familiarity with special education approaches, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience with literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and Montessori methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing when necessary to monitor progress.
  • Demonstrated classroom experience in managing diverse groups of young children while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Knowledge of toddler care routines and childcare best practices for early childhood settings.
  • Flexibility to adapt lesson plans based on individual student needs or changing classroom dynamics.
  • Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; additional training in special education or child welfare is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
