Preschool Teacher

Kids by the Bunch is a privately owned and operated Early Learning Childcare Center located in Syosset, New York. We provide a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years during the school year, and welcome children ages 5–12 for Summer Camp.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our passionate team of educators. If you love working with young children and are excited to help them grow, learn, and thrive, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with NY State Next Generation Standards for both large and small group activities
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based and structured learning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed classroom
• Build strong, respectful relationships with families and provide daily communication about each child’s day

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education

OR

• Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program

OR

• CDA in Preschool

OR

• Willingness to obtain a CDA with support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
