Preschool Teacher

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement innovative curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student development and address any concerns.
• Provide individualized support for students with special educational needs through tailored interventions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and well-being.

Basic qualifications

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• At least 1 year experience teaching 2 year-olds
• 90 hrs / CDA / AA degree
• Experience working with children in various capacities, including daycare or preschool settings.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in early childhood education or related field, with experience in curriculum development.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, and behavior management strategies.
• Experience with standardized testing and tutoring to support student learning outcomes.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
