Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate cognitive and motor skills.
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and educational standards.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and nurturing environment.
  • Provide individualized support through early intervention techniques and special education strategies tailored to children with diverse needs.
  • Foster social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, empathy, and effective communication among students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessments, standardized testing results, and behavioral observations.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication to support children's welfare and developmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Incorporate teaching physical education activities to promote gross motor skills and overall health.
  • Support classroom management by organizing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and creating an inviting learning space.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, toddler care, and classroom management techniques.

Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings. A background in early childhood education or a related field is essential, with preferred experience in private schools or Montessori environments. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, behavior management, lesson planning, and classroom experience are highly valued. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, standardized testing procedures, tutoring techniques, and teaching physical education will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Excellent communication skills are necessary to foster strong relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Job Type: Full-time
