Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their critical early childhood years. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
  • Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Support early intervention strategies and special education needs by adapting lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child progress, developmental milestones, and classroom events.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor individual student growth and inform instructional strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and best practices in childcare and early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior Montessori or private school experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to maintain an organized learning environment.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields; additional qualifications in special education or toddler care are a plus.
  • Passion for nurturing young minds through innovative teaching methods such as curriculum development aligned with Montessori or other progressive educational philosophies.
